4. Kids who's families are in Financial Hardship.
We also send Notes/Cards of Love to Adults in need of Uplifting!
*About Us*
About Our Founder: My name is Tabitha and I am a child of God, who for the first three years of her life were spent living in Children's Hospital (in New Orleans, La) due to birth abnormalities. I was born without a right arm and at 9 months old my right leg had to be amputated. My left arm is half the length of a normal length arm, but none of this has ever STOPPED me. My family raised me just as any other kid in my family. The labels cripple or handicapped were never used to describe me..EVER!
I started this mission October 1, 1992 when it was first called (The Second Wind Club). We re-organized on October 1, 2007 when I sat down with my family and came to the conclusion that I would no longer allow the lack of compassion of others to stop me from doing what I was destined to do. After a few hours we had a new name for our mission and a stronger game plan. My life has been a truly blessed one and it's only fitting that I share my blessings with others. This mission is about ONE family doing God's work. It's about what God has placed before us. We accept what is and what will be, because we know He will be with us every step of the way. With my family and great friends by my side we have built this into something truly beautiful and we hope you will soon join us in this effort. :) ~God Bless
