On my Facebook page Mayor Fulop posted this information that I thought should be spread across Jersey City!
With schools about to start again 12 days of today, the annual Back-to-School FREE backpack giveaway program is back!
Each backpack will be filled with school supplies to Jersey City kids, K-12. Money was raised from private donors to fund this amazing program!
To get a FREE backpack for your child, click here to fill out the form. Parents and children MUST be present to pick up. Bag distribution will take place on Saturday, August 31, from 10am - 12pm, in the following locations:
- Audubon Park
- Pershing Field
- Hamilton Park
- Lincoln Park Community Center
